This book recounts the conservation work carried out by the TAREA Foundation for ten years, focusing on South American colonial paintings and works from other origins. The majority of the colonial canvases, including the well-known Ángeles Militares, were painted in territories that belonged to the Viceroyalties of Peru and the Río de la Plata, primarily in Cuzco, Potosí, and the highlands of Jujuy.
