“Esto del cine: Ricardo Preve x Luis Sens” is a book that captures a story that began more than 20 years ago. It is a journey through the films of filmmaker Ricardo Preve, seen through the lens of photographer Luis Sens’s many cameras.
The on-set and off-set moments come together to form a possible narrative—one that opens up and multiplies across the vast sea of the seventh art.
Photographer Luis Sens has been working with the filmmaker since 2006. Since then, Sens has documented scenes, behind-the-scenes moments, rehearsals, shoots, work, and rest during the making of Ricardo Preve’s various films. The book features a selection of photographs taken by Luis Sens over the years, along with brief descriptions and narratives of their shared journey.
It also includes introductory texts by renowned figures from the worlds of art and cinema, such as Alberto Goldenstein, Fernando Spiner, and Anahí Berneri.
