"Small Scarce" by Lucía von Sprecher is the photobook that inaugurates the Photobook Collection, a new editorial project by ArtexArte directed by Juan Manuel Fiuza. "Small Scarce" brings together actions, photographs, and collages created in recent years.

By emphasizing repetition and reproduction, the wounds of the images, their technical flaws, shadows, the imprint of the photocopier on the material, and fractured temporalities, Lucía expresses her ideas about the body, art, and existence.

Photographs, installations, sculptures, audio pieces, and small actions and video performances construct the images that make up this photobook, where we can appreciate the artist's interest in the austere encounter between image and word, as if one assists the other, pulling it out of rest.

Lucía is interested in altering the photographic record, damaging the image, extracting it, and delving into its bones.
