Can we see the world through the eyes of others? How far can the visual experiences offered by artists transport us? This book immerses us in various sensitive universes, connecting the practices of twenty-six artists from eighteen different countries. Through photography, moving images, video, and installation, the presented works prompt us to consider issues of memory in relation to the absence or overabundance of images. They evoke our relationship with the natural world, the visual and historical construction of territories, and the use of photographs and films as mediums for self-projection onto models.
