At the PhotoGallery of the Teatro San Martín, Sara Facio has successfully elevated photography by showcasing the creativity of artists, the diversity of their styles, and the variety of perspectives across different disciplines — of our own artists and of those we made our own by letting their images move us. Without false nationalisms, it is essential to present the development of photography from our own point of view, with competence, passion, and fairness, and to challenge the myth that considers Europe and the U.S. as creative monopolies, when in reality they are simply regions that have benefited from better conditions for production and distribution.
