Manto Azul gives voice to extractivism in Madre de Dios, an ancient gold deposit located in the Valdivian mountain range. The meeting of image and word offers us a deep, expansive, and painfully beautiful perspective. It is the voice that inhabits these pages, the one that makes its way through jungles and mine shafts, to reflect on human voracity.
