Description

Daniel Muchiut, through each of his photos, embarks on an exploration of an apparently ordinary territory. He immerses himself in this search, putting his body into it. And he discovers that the everyday is a facade, a veneer that conceals something profound: the ominous nature of human existence. Muchiut's gaze lingers on the cracks, on that uncomfortable territory that the common-sense gaze, numbed by routine, cannot and should not see: the geography of the "others." In this way, like a game of mirrors, he exposes the threads that organize the world of the "normal." Muchiut, as an artist, becomes involved in the fabric of reality in order to transform it through his work. Because every creation is a way of altering the world. Every narrative modifies and clouds our perception of reality.
