Moujan, Marcela

Argentinian photographer. She is a national drawing teacher. In late 1988, she traveled to New York to study photography. In late 1989, she settled in Madrid for two years. There, she learned screen printing and set up a workshop near Alcalá. That year, she also held her first solo exhibition in Buenos Aires. In 1992, she returned to New York to learn antique restoration techniques and mural painting. In 1994, she returned to Buenos Aires to present a solo exhibition. She was part of the Barracas Workshop of the Antorchas Foundation. She has participated in exhibitions in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Madrid, and the United States. She was invited to the Havana Biennial (1997) and the Mercosur Biennial (2001). Her work is featured in the MAMBA and MACRO museums. She has received numerous awards.
