Moreno, José

Chilean artist. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts from the University of Chile. He has worked in the photography department of the university since 1979. He was one of the co-founders of the Association of Independent Photographers. Throughout his career, he has had a significant role as a professional photographer and as an academic. He has also made an important contribution to the national iconographic heritage through the preservation and dissemination of valuable archives of Chilean photographers such as Antonio Quintana, Roberto Montandón, and Domingo Ulloa. Currently, he serves as the head of the Photography Unit at the Andrés Bello Archive of the University of Chile.
