Díaz, Mario

President of the Photography Section of UNEAC from 1991 to 1993, president of the Plastic Arts Section of UNEAC in 1993, founder of the Fototeca de Cuba, of which he was Director from 1993 to the year 2000. Author of countless photographs such as "Mi Bandera" or the fabulous essay on Wifredo Lam. In addition to Cuba, his work has been exhibited in Mexico, Argentina, the United States, France, and Italy. Numerous institutions in these countries have included it in their collections. He chaired the Photography Section of UNEAC from 1991 to 1993, and the Plastic Arts Section of UNEAC in 1993. He was also the founder of the Fototeca de Cuba, which he directed from 1993 to the year 2000.
