Williams, Armando

Peruvian painter and printmaker born in 1957. He graduated from the National School of Fine Arts in Lima and the Art Students League in New York. He was a member of the Huayco group. He has held several solo exhibitions, including in Lima (1982, 1998, 2001) and New York (1996). He has received several national awards. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Puerto Rico (1984), England (1984), Poland (1993), and Mexico (1996). His work is represented in collections in Puerto Rico, Lima, Managua, and New York.
