Pajuelo, Daniel

(Peru 1963-2000)

A documentary photographer, Pajuelo turned a spotlight on the social reality of low-income neighborhoods. In 1986, he joined the Social Photography Workshops TAFOS, where he perfected his technique in black-and-white and became one of the main coordinators of this style of photography in Peru. His work is known for its challenging images and the spontaneous quality of his portraits.
