Medail, Francisco
Argentine artist. He studied at the National University of Avellaneda in the province of Buenos Aires. His solo exhibitions include "Extimidad" (2013), "Parte" (2015), and "Photographs 1930-1943" (2017). His work is part of public collections such as the National Museum of Fine Arts of Argentina, the Emilio Caraffa Provincial Museum, and the Getty Research Institute. In 2011, he was selected for "Currículum Cero," an emerging artist award organized by the Ruth Benzacar gallery. In 2014, he participated in the PAC Project, a curatorial studies program. In 2016, he won the creation scholarship from the National Endowment for the Arts, and in 2018, he was selected by the Embassy of France for an art residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. From 2015 to 2020, he served as the artistic director of Buenos Aires Photo, an art fair specializing in photography. His work is represented by the Rolf art gallery.
