Foto Ravazzini

Carlos Ravazzini opened his photography studio in the town of Avellaneda, Buenos Aires, in 1924. His headquarters at Avenida Mitre 663 was so prestigious for its professional quality that it was already capable of easily competing with the best in the capital city. In his laboratory and studio, he carried out various types of work, including portraits taken at clients' homes, reproductions, enlargements, enamel prints, miniatures, oil paintings, pastel and pencil drawings, and occasionally documented the social, institutional, and official activities of the city. In this way, Ravazzini contributed to the historical documentation of the municipality's growth and evolution, as well as his civic role through his involvement in local institutions. Upon his death, his daughter, Alicia S. Ravazzini, who was trained in music, took over the professional activity.
