Fuks, Julio

He is a professor in fine arts graduated from the National University of La Plata. He specialized in Drawing, Engraving, and Printmaking. He studied photography at the Center for Contemporary Photography and in the workshops of Juan Travnik between 1994 and 2000. He participated in postgraduate studies in cinematography direction with Ricardo Aranovich. He exhibited individually at the Photogallery of the San Martín Theater (Buenos Aires, 2001), Alliance Française (Centro, Buenos Aires, 2002), Museum of Fine Arts of Buenos Aires (La Plata, 2002), CIBIC Gallery (Rosario, 2003), Eclectic Gallery (Buenos Aires, 2004), British Arts Centre (Buenos Aires, 2006). He participated in numerous collective exhibitions since 1989: XCV National Salon of Visual Arts (jury mention, Buenos Aires, 2006), Sequence – Photo Rio 2005 (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), 258 exhibitions 28 years – Photogallery San Martín Theater (Buenos Aires, 2005), Bordering Identities – Festival of Light (Buenos Aires, 2004), National Salon of Visual Arts 2004 (Buenos Aires, 2004), The artist illuminates his library (Buenos Aires, 2003), Green that I love you green, the landscape in Argentine art (Buenos Aires, 2004), XII Salon of Young Art 2001, among others. His work is found in various collections in Argentina and abroad.
