The Welsh colony in the province of Chubut has preserved to this day the traditions, language, and cultural identity inherited from the first immigrants who arrived in the region more than 150 years ago. In this book, photographer Marcos Zimmermann documents the present-day life of the Welsh communities, their daily routines, and the enduring vitality of their customs. Through his images, the continuity of a story unique in the world is revealed: that of *Y Wladfa*, the Welsh colony of Patagonia.
