Mothers and Daughters is a photographic essay by Adriana Lestido, developed over the course of three years with the support of the American institutions Mother Jones Foundation and the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation.

Adriana Lestido deliberately employed an aesthetic that minimizes technical impact in favor of emotion, allowing us to feel everyday conflicts through an ethical commitment.
