This book brings together the works of modernist photographer José Yalenti, along with research and text by Rubens Fernandes Jr.
Yalenti was one of the founders of the Foto Cine Clube Bandeirante in April 1939, and remained associated with it until his death on May 4, 1967. His photographs traveled through the salons of global camera club photography and today are part of the collections of MASP (São Paulo), the Tate Gallery (London), MoMA (New York), and nearly a dozen significant private collections in Brazil and abroad.
